These Booking Terms & Conditions form the basis of your contract with Bikepackinghellas, based at Vlychada 1, Santorini, 84700, Thira, Greece.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Payment
• A booking is confirmed once we receive your completed booking form and the required deposit.
• The deposit is 50% of the total tour price (or full payment if booking within 30 days of departure).
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure.
• If the final balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and apply cancellation fees.
2. Prices & Accuracy
We aim to ensure all information and prices are correct, however errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct any mistakes before confirming your booking.
3. Risk & Insurance
Cycling tours involve inherent risks. You participate at your own risk.
All participants must have valid travel insurance covering:
- Medical & emergency repatriation
- Personal liability
- Cancellation & curtailment
- Baggage & equipment
Without insurance, Bikepackinghellas accepts no liability for losses.
4. Tours & Itineraries
• All itineraries and timings are indicative.
• Routes may change due to weather, safety, or local conditions.
• The Tour Leader has the final decision on route changes.
• Travel to the start/end point is not included.
5. Participation Requirements
You must:
- Be physically fit for multi-day cycling
- Wear a helmet at all times
- Carry mandatory safety gear
- Follow local traffic laws
- Respect the Tour Leader and other riders
Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.
6. Bikes & Equipment
In case you bring your own bicycle
• Your bike must be suitable and well maintained.
• You are responsible for your own equipment.
• We are not liable for damage, theft or mechanical failure.
If you hire equipment from us, you are responsible for its care and return.
7. Weather & Safety
Tours run in outdoor environments.
We may modify or pause a tour due to unsafe weather or conditions.
8. Cancellations by You

9. Changes or Cancellation by Us
If we must cancel or make a major change, we will:
- Offer a refund, or
- Offer an alternative tour of equal value
Minor changes do not entitle to compensation.
10. Early Departure
If you leave the tour early, no refund will be given for unused services.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for events beyond our control including weather, natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, or government restrictions.
12. Behaviour
Any dangerous, illegal, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.
13. Photography
You agree that photos and videos taken during the tour may be used for promotional purposes.
14. Governing Law & JurisdictionThese Terms are governed by Greek law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
