Description:
The adventure begins with a group pickup from Thessaloniki “Macedonia” Airport, followed by a warm welcome and bike setup. Before rolling out, riders take part in a comprehensive safety briefing, covering the route, riding guidelines, and what to expect over the coming days.
Leaving the city behind, the first ride sets a relaxed but purposeful tone, following quiet roads through open countryside and fertile plains. The 80 km journey toward Veria offers an ideal introduction to the terrain, allowing riders to find their rhythm while enjoying views of rural Macedonia and Mount Vermio in the distance. The day concludes in the historic town of Veria, where the group settles in and prepares for the adventures ahead.

Route: Veroia → Velventos

Description:
Leaving Veria behind, the journey begins to climb as the route follows the course of the Aliakmonas River. The landscape gradually changes from open plains to rolling hills, with long, steady ascents setting the tone for the days ahead.
Riding parallel to the river, the road offers a sense of flow and remoteness before reaching the town of Velventos and the shores of Lake Polyfytos. This is a demanding day, marking the true start of the mountain terrain, where climbing becomes a central part of the adventure. Effort is rewarded with wide views, dramatic scenery, and the satisfaction of settling into the rhythm of the tour.

Route: Velventos → Deskati

Day three begins in Velventos, a peaceful town nestled in the foothills of Mount Pieria. After the breakfast, the route leads across the spectacular bridge of Lake Polyfytou, offering breathtaking views over the shimmering waters and surrounding mountains.
The journey continues towards the Rimnio Bridge, before winding through a series of quiet, small villages, where time seems to slow down and authentic rural life unfolds. The day ends in Deskati, a welcoming mountain town, marking another unforgettable chapter of this cycling adventure through Northern Greece.

Route: Deskati → Kalampaka

Day four leaves Deskati behind and heads towards Kalambaka, after just a few kilometers reaching one of the most iconic landscapes in Greece: the breathtaking Meteora. Towering rock formations rise dramatically from the plain, crowned by centuries-old monasteries that seem to float in the air.
There will be plenty of time to explore this unique natural and spiritual wonder, cycling among the cliffs, discovering hidden viewpoints, and soaking in the extraordinary atmosphere of one of Greece’s most magical destinations.

Route: Kalampaka→ Metsovo

Leaving behind the magical landscape of Meteora and Kalambaka, the route begins to climb towards Metsovo, a beautiful mountain town that marks our entrance into the heart of the Pindus mountain range. As the road ascends, the scenery becomes wilder and more dramatic, with dense forests, fresh mountain air, and endless views of the surrounding peaks.
This stage feels like a true transition — from open plains to high mountains — immersing us fully in one of the most stunning and authentic regions of Greece

Route: Metsovo → Kalarytes

After Metsovo, the route heads towards Kalarytes, and it is time to conquer one of the most legendary climbs in Greece: the Baros Pass, the highest paved mountain pass in the country. As the road winds higher into the mountains, cyclists are surrounded by dramatic alpine landscapes and a true sense of wilderness.
Reaching the other side, we arrive in Kalarytes, one of the most beautiful traditional villages of the Tzoumerka region, perched on the mountainside and offering a perfect reward after this unforgettable ascent.
Day 7
Route: Kalarytes→ Ioannina

Surrounded by water and history, Ioannina welcomes us as a unique and vibrant city, where nature and culture blend perfectly — the ideal ending to an unforgettable cycling adventure through the heart of Greece.
